The Market season is open April 24th thru end of November, from 9:00 am - noon. If you are a musician and are interested in playing at the market for fun and fame, contact Laura Gaylord, Town of Elkin, at 336-258-8908 to book a slot.

Feb/March 2021
WINTER MARKET: The 2020-21 season changes to an indoor winter market from Feb 27 thru mid-April. The temporary location for the winter market is at the Heritage and Trails Center, 257 Standard St, downtown Elkin. Hours for the winter market only, are 10 am - 1 pm.
April 2021
Food Truck Fridays are held all day long at the Market Shelter, hosted by Explore Elkin. Stop by from 11 am to 8pm, the 2nd Friday of every month, from April thru October. LIVE MUSIC begins at 5:30 pm, ends at 8pm, along with the food truck service. Food served all day long till 8pm. Dates: TBA. Bring your lawn chairs and relax. Adult beverages will also be for sale. This is not a farmers market event, as it is held on a Friday. Be sure to wear your mask and follow social distancing while in attendance.

We typically do not book musicians in November due to cooler temperatures. Dates in November are pending, except for the Harvest Market below:
2021 Regular Season's Closing Day- November 20th, 2021 (the date of our annual Harvest Market Event)
December 2021
The winter market dates will be posted in November, based on availability of vendors.
